Retreat at Speedway
Pool is closed 50% of the time during hot summer months. If you plan to live here and you like to swim to cool off or for... exercise, you will need a membership to a pool or make sure you can access the city pools. No weights in the workout room. You will also need a membership to a gym equipped with weights. These amenities disappeared at the same time the rent went up 20%.
Office used to be open 10-6 daily. Now hours are less. Some weekdays it is closed all day long. Management sends out collection letters on email every month to everyone. If you have paid your rent on time or early for 12 years you will get a series of collection notices on the first of every month as if you are a total deadbeat tenant anyway. That is an insulting business policy. I pay my electric bill early too. TEP never sends me a late notice on the due date anyway as if their programmers are too dumb to figure out a way to sort paid customers from unpaid.
The location of the apartments is great. They can't change that. The maintenance has been consistently excellent. Read More about Amenities

The property is very nice we love our apartment and the staff is very friendly, but we feel that some of the residents don't... do their share at helping keep the property clean for example the grills are disgusting and the tables by the grills are gross , people need to learn to clean up after themselves. Plus even when the pool is open people need to clean up before they leave. We understand the original closing of the pool because of covid but it's 110° outside and the pool is a nice place for relief and many other complexes have their pool open plus the pool is one reason we picked this complex and it's the one place my family enjoys being able to do.Read More about Property review
