worst

Maintenance is worst. Hot water is not coming from last week and leasing office said it would take another week to fix. Have been struggling to take cold water shower for one week and I need to struggle for one more week

look at this

at apt 164, someone left a note on my door and threw paint on my car apparently over confusion because i am baffled. cant post picture here and ALSO very interesting? 911 basically said if its not emergency never call us again. Sooooooooooo vigilante justice? Seriosuly?

Noise

I have living here for many years I love it but lately I have seeing and hearing , noises at 7 am 8 am , I understand some works start at that time but as a resident I don't think is a good idea to start making noise before 9 am (office hours) on less is an emergency. Pool guys and gardeners start to early using machines that make very laud noise. I work in a restaurant and I get home 3 am ... I need peace !

Awesome stay in the heart of Scottsdale

It is a wonderful stay in Desert Horizon apartment in the heart of Scottsdale with lot of greenery, pool and all other facilities. Leasing office people are very friendly and they provide free snacks very frequently that is awesome. All officers are too fast to respond and they make our life easier. Thank you so much.

A basic rundown of my stay

I'm writing this today because we live in one of the hottest states in the country. Our air conditioning unit broke within months of us being here so we had to call in maintenance like any other person and get it fixed. Well, it never truly got "fixed". It began to leak onto the carpet out of nowhere and I mean a lot. After filling many buckets, it eventually stops. Within days though, it completely shuts off and is leaving our pets to fend for themselves. You would expect in a state where it reaches 110° mid day, for the maintenance to fix a broken AC unit immediately regardless of what day or holiday it is. It's simply inhumane to leave us with no air conditioning for 4 days... I'm also wondering how we are being compensated for the amount of bugs that are coming through with these fans they sent us. Mosquitos left and right, yet we pay an exterminator fee for nobody to come out. Simply put, I'm unimpressed with the lack of assistance and excess of fees they love to give us. The bills: a million random fees that most likely weren't utilized by you. This apartment complex is not forgiving and I just can't recommend it to anyone.

A place to call home

I've lived here since 2015 and I wouldn't live anywhere else. I work just down the street. Andres is always friendly and professional. The maintenance people respond quickly to any service request I've had. I recommend this community to everyone.

Resigned lease

I've lived here since 2020 and I just signed another lease. I have to say I love living here. The location is really safe and quiet. Also, It's really close to my work. Andres the manager is fantastic and genuinely cares to help with any concern I may have.

Adrian

Adrian came yesterday and repaired our air conditioner. It was very noisy and made sleeping difficult. We appreciate how efficient Adrian was in repairing our Air conditioner. Moving out

Loved living here. It is such a quiet neighborhood & safe. The office people is super helpful and maintenance is always completing the jobs. If i didn't have to move to Florida for sure I would have stayed here for many years.

Hot tub and Pool

Can you please please get the hot tub and heated pool working. It's part of the reason I moved here. And it's very disappointing that I can't use those amenities.

Best apartment experience

We have been very please while living here. The location is great. They are very responsive to any maintenance work needed. And are very willing to work their residents if any issues occur. This has been our best apartment experience.

Review

I just moved to Arizona last week from Missouri and I would have to say maintenance deserves more than 5 stars! I really appreciate you! My air conditioner was not working and they fixed it! The staff checked on me and felt appreciated. As for parking, I am not a fan of my assigned spot...I am parked next to a pick up truck and it is so difficult for me to park next to them...I asked for a different parking spot and was not able to. My parking spot is not that close to my apt...other than that, that would be my only complaint.

Quiet living

This is my second time leasing at Desert Horizon. In between I had been out of state; however upon returning to Arizona, I chose to lease from another location. After being disappointed with the other location, I came back to Desert Horizon. I should have come back here immediately. I liked the floor plan of the one bedroom apartments. Even though it is only a few square feet larger it feels twice the size. Bigger kitchen with stainless steel appliances. A walk-in closet. Lots of storage inside and out. The complex is so much quieter than what I knew before. I would say that I am happy with my decision to come back to Desert Horizon.

Great Customer Service

I have helped my mom Marguerite find a new home in apartment living. I can't say enough about the GREAT customer service from Rogelio Hernandez(AKA-Roger). He has gone above and beyond to help me. My mom hasn't even moved in yet but we are so excited. She will live closer by me and she's very happy with how clean and nice the apartments looked on the outside. We haven't even been inside. Roger has been so patient and kind to walk me thru the process. You should be lucky to have him and wish to have all like his customer service skills. I'm looking forward to settling my mom here for her new home. She's a positive delightful person and great tenant herself. Thank you again Roger!! Great Job!!

Nice place to live!

Our move in process was easy, the staff has been pleasant and responsive, maintenance was very prompt when we had an issue. The location of Desert Horizon apartments perfectly fit our needs. The neighbors in our section are quiet, respectful and friendly without being nosy. The kitchen is far too tiny but everything works and, though not new, was clean. We really like it here.

Very GOOD

Its very good to stay here. Mainatenance is also on time. One issue I noticed is while celaning dust weekly once, all the dust used to come to our frontdoor. I told couple of times but no action. Overall staying at desert horizon is superb. Defentliy missing to stay here. If they would have considered my request on rent increase, i would have stayed few more year here.
