I feel like the apartments are unsure I only see 1 security guard at night. My car got broken into as well. I’ve seen so ... many police cars here every other night MULTIPLE times. Parking is almost always a nightmare - we don’t get a designated spot so it’s pretty much a guessing game if you’re going ... to find a parking spot close to your actual apartment or not. My apartment looked nice at first but after a couple days I noticed so many things that were wrong and should’ve been fixed before they reoccupied it. The amount of times I’ve almost been hit trying to enter/leave the complex or walking to take the trash out is crazy. I’ve witnessed two car accidents right outside the entrance. I’ve seen cops/fire trucks and ambulances on more than a few occasions. They have food trucks here sometimes which is cool. My mailbox is on the complete other side of the complex which is very weird to me but not that big of a deal. Overall it’s okay, but not great. I’ve seen roaches a handful of times (always only one at a given time) but I’m sure to keep anything sweet or open put away in closed containers but I’ve still seen a few stragglers. Relocation
Motif Apartments are by far my favorite place! I recently relocated from Missouri and let’s just say when I arrived here ... in Phoenix, I did not have a place to call home. I do have family here that had offered to open their doors for me but I wanted something of my own. Motif Apartments did that for me within a matter of 72 hrs! Staff Are Rude And Unwelcoming
Besides Destiny the staff at Motif are very rude. I stopped today by because there was a sign that said there was an event ... today and it wasn't listed in the events. I asked and the lady very rudely said we had a lemonade event but it is over. It wasn't mentioned on the website or anything and was basically just for the staff I guess. Destiny has been very helpful anytime I have needed help or mentioned maintenance issues with the amenities. The other staff don't care about your experience as a tenant and just make excuses to push you past them. The amenities functioning or the maintenance of the gym or pool has been a problem the staff don't attend to. Anytime the sanitation wipes are used up in the gym I have to go 4-5x to the front desk to tell them how bad a health hazard it is not to have sanitation wipes in the gym. Nothing gets done and I just get snarky looks from the staff besides Destiny. If the staff were a little more friendly and didn't setup fake events for themselves and then be rude when asking about the event I would feel welcome here. Sadly I don't feel welcome and think Weidner apartments treats is tenants horribly and is just a big corporate system with horrible management and policies. Poor Communication and Unhelpful Staff
I am very disappointed in the move in process to Motif Apartments. The staff did a poor job of communicating the setup process ... and was unhelpful when I ran into issues and required assistance. I have now been charged penalties and fees due to the staffs unwillingness to help and communicate the steps to resolve issue. I feel like i signed up for prison instead of residency. move out extra charges
I moved out from Motif Apartment, and they charged all kind of fee apartment cleaning fee, paint fee, carpet cleaning fee ... etc. Even I clean apartment fee they said they still need to charge. No Returned Security Deposit
I am writing this review after being moved out for 6 weeks. I haven't had to think about this place for 6 weeks, or so I ... thought. I haven't seen my security deposit when I was told it would be sent 2 weeks after move out. I have called 6 times trying to get an answer and it's the typical "let me ask and we will get back to you..." I never get a response. For anyone wanting to move out, ask for your money back. For the residents that I do know there, I am letting them know that they need to get out for their own sake. If I do not see this soon, larger consequences will be happen. They have my forwarding address, phone number and old apartment number for reference and yet there is still no action being taken. I will try calling for a 7th time. Happy to call motif home
I have lived here at motif for a little over a year now. I just resigned my lease without hesitation. The best thing I can ... say about this complex are the employees. All of them from office staff to maintenance staff. Everything I have ever needed to address has been handled very fast and very professional. I really feel they truly care about the complex and all of its residents. The units are spacious and comfortable. The parking is awful but I have never had an issue with someone taking my assigned spot. The complex is quiet and welcoming and so far the residents all seem to respect one another. I have lived at Motif for over 2 years now and I truly love my home. The community is close to lots of restaurants, grocery ... stores and the freeway I-17.
