I don’t know how to edit my last review, but since then maintenance does a good job of taking care of things in timely manners,... but not the best maintenance work being done. Still a lot of quick fixes and sloppy work. I believe they changed having maintenance out more than twice a week. Pools been cleaner recently. Our dishwasher and stove does not work properly. They say they come out and fix it, but when we get home the problem is still... ongoing. The appliances are horrible, outdated and do not work. Maintenance will “fix” in the cheapest possible way, but they don’t see to fix anything. Multiple outlets don’t work. The amenities such as the gym is old, outdated, broken and smelly. Did you really fix it? Or did you say you did? Never can come when I am home to verify things are taken care of correctly.... We almost had a fire from our dryer that they've said they fixed already. The fire alarm went off and we had to unplug the dryer. So they came out said we probably needed a new one. Instead they opted to try and fix it again, yet it still almost started an electrical fire. Our stove turns to high heat and doesn't turn down and all the stove tops are bent crooked so you can't cook with pans on them. They said they fixed this.... That was a lie. The dishwasher has said to been fixed twice already.... That is a lie. I usually don't write a review but I was inclined to because of the bad experience that I encountered here . I arrived with... the movers ready to unload and get moved in but didn't have access to the apt as the previous tenant installed a separate lock on the door which was locked so I wasn't able to access the apt. This resulted in me having to pay the movers a extra $100.00 as we lost valuable time. Once inside the apt it was full of roaches everywhere!! There was a car parked in my assigned space for 2 days until finally moved. The toilet seat in the master bathroom was totally unacceptable as it was extremely worn and looked very unsanitary. I have multible issues but to sum things up I am very disappointed in the apt. I was apprehensive after reading quite a few bad reviews before signing a lease and now my concerns have been validated unfortunately. I am highly disappointed after looking forward to moving here.

This complex is nice and has great qualities but when it comes to the upper management decisions for maintenance repairs... is highly disheartening and dissatisfying. Mirador apartment complex wants us to pay a repair bill on top of months rent when the security deposit is there for those specific reasons. There is no access to the apartment lease agreement to verify if a choice like this is possible and a clarifying explanation has not been given in regards to explaining why management has decided to make a choice like this to ensure tenets will pay maintenance requests on top of monthly rent when Arizona rent and the current standing of renting is not ethical or moral to say the least. The maintenance team is amazing and the ground are kept very well but executive decisons management make are not ethical or moral in todays standard. Security deposits are here for a reason and I’m currently believing this choice is being made due to solely having an apartment ready for its next tenets as we are not staying anti renew the lease. It’s a time issue in my opinion and they don’t want to wait to have to have repairs done after the lease ends to have a vacant apartment until maintenance repairs are done. We understand that extra cost with rent can be difficult, however it is in the lease that the resident will and is responsible for all damages done to the unit. The door being kicked in and causing the unit to not be secure needing immediate replacement is the resident responsibility to pay at time of damage. The deposit is used for move out charges only after you have vacated the unit, we can provide your lease and it is for viewing online. Mirador is advertised as luxury homes but the reality is these Apartments are not luxury as the name suggests. The truth... is this property is overpriced and does not offer the comfort of luxury Homes. In a nut shell, the property has very old appliances especially the fridge, dish washer, and washer and dryer. These appliances keep breaking down and the maintenance people just put band aids to them. With the kind of money tenants are paying to this property, the Mirador management needs to upgrade appliances. Also many apartments have very old carpets that don't appear clean even after being cleaned. Inside walls in many apartments have not been repainted for over a decade. Environmental scientists suggest that there are many health problems associated with living in a home with too old paint and too old carpets. Mirador needs to do an evaluation of each apartment based on duration of occupancy and determine those apartments that need to be upgraded. Other than that, the staff is amazing, and the location of the property is perfect as it is near two major highways. Also the residents of Mirador are great people. I have lived in these apartments for over 4 years and have never had any problems until recently. Lately it appears that... we have new Leasing and maintenance staff that are very unprofessional and rude. Work orders are rarely completed and this morning I had a conversation with the new leasing manager Tanya who spoke to me very unprofessionally and rude. She accused me of unreported pets being in the unit which I reported when I moved in over for years ago she wasn't even with the company yet). She said there was nothing documented showing that we had pets but I can't be responsible for their paperwork. I’ve placed a work order about two weeks ago regarding a leak under the sink in the hallway restroom. I’ve called twice to... see if someone could come and stop the continuous drip until maintenance can actually repair the leak. I’ve been told both times that they will have someone come and assist. I have yet to see anyone from maintenance and no update as to when this will be repaired or addressed. I’m just curious as to how much MY water bill will be and if Mirador will be assisting in covering the cost because they continue to put off a simple request. I am an long time resident at the Mirador . I have seen many management teams over the last 10 years . We all find ourselves... in this most unusual times due to Covid . I have learned from a early age how important it is to let people know you appreciate all they do in normal times Pre-Covid and since March .

I absolutely LOVE Monica for all she did for me. I love the unit I'm in, I have a stunning view of the golf course! The grounds are clean and well kept. Opinion on Mirado as Resident
I am in my mid 70's and have lived in Apartment Complexes in Atlanta, Dallas/Ft Worth, Oklahoma City, Kansas City and Phoenix,... and London England and Edinburgh Scotland. I now reside here at Mirador for the last 5 months. I have never lived in more beautiful and scenic Complex, immaculate landscaping and clean, with million dollar homes in the hills around us, a beautiful Professional Gold Course, and in a valley, away from the Phoenix pollution.
My family and I have never experienced an Office Staff that treats us like family, gives us immediate attention and an Maintenance staff that takes care of our needs that is resolved never longer than 24 hours. We love this location and awesome swimming pools and fitness center. Our neighbors fell the same way and we are truly a Community.
